An AP article on cultural references brought to mind one of Mr. Rewrite's favorite "Seinfeld" episodes: "The Yada Yada." But he was more than a little concerned to see his students described as the "yadda, yadda, yadda" generation (above left). Since the story ties the phrase to the television program (which, according to AP's own stylebook, should be in quotes -- see television program titles, an offshoot of composition titles), it would make sense to be consistent with "Seinfeld."
The image at above right is from the official "Seinfeld" website; Mr. Rewrite found several references to "yada" there in just a few seconds.
Mr. Rewrite takes this a bit personally, not just because he loves "Seinfeld" but because he throws around the occasional "yada, yada."
