To Press-Gazette's credit, the next day's paper ran a note (also featured in Apple's account) explaining the error: An excerpt: "In the event the Packers win Sunday and advance to the Super Bowl, we'll spell the host city of Dallas correctly."
Many years ago the Press-Gazette featured an even more memorable botched headline, if you can believe it. Over a story about Wisconsin Gov. Tommy Thompson's sweeping line-item veto power, it offered this:
